The Client
Our client, a leader in early-stage venture
investing, has created industry-leading companies in
the e-business, communication, and e-healthcare
industries. They have been working with outstanding
entrepreneurs since 1969, and in that time have
invested in over 400 companies.

The Challenge
As well as providing information about their
mission, team and strategies on their corporate web
site, our client wanted to feature dynamic
information about themselves and each of the
hundreds of companies they fund. Our client needed
to update this dynamic content, which includes news,
bios, articles, and even stock quotes, easily and
without an HTML coder in house.

The Solution
Digiguys provided the client with a set of secured,
easy-to-use, database-driven, content management
tools tailored to their needs. At any time, their
employees with the required security access can
easily modify the web content, have the new content
approved, and immediately view those changes on
their corporate web site. For the stock quotes,
Digiguys developed a back-end system that
automatically retrieves updated information from a
stock quote provider every 20 minutes. The
information is stored in a database and is available
immediately for display on the web site.

The Benefits Delivered
The easy to use, web-based tools allow employees
without any HTML or coding knowledge to update the
news articles and company information on the web
site, and the dynamic stock quote information is
provided without any effort on our client’s part.
Visitors to our client’s web site are provided a
richer experience and are encouraged to come back
regularly to see the new information.
